While the Military Order of the Carabao is deeply rooted in 125 years of camaraderie and good humor, we are equally committed to a serious and lasting mission: supporting those who have dedicated their lives to defending our nation.
The Carabao Foundation is the 501(c)(3) charitable arm of the Order. It was established to channel the collective generosity of the Herd into meaningful philanthropic initiatives. Through the foundation, our members and corporate sponsors directly fund scholarships, preserve vital military history, and support organizations that aid active-duty servicemembers, veterans, and their families.
Our Pillars of Support
The foundation strategically directs its resources toward programs where our funding can make a direct, tangible impact. We focus our efforts across three core areas:
We believe in investing in the next generation of American leaders. The foundation provides academic scholarships and merit-based grants to the children and descendants of campaign veterans, as well as outstanding participants in junior commissioning programs (such as ROTC and service academy cadets).
The stories of American veterans deserve to be told accurately and preserved permanently. The foundation funds historical preservation projects, educational exhibits, and archival research that honor the legacy of our nation’s military campaigns ensuring the sacrifices made from 1900 to the present day are never forgotten.
Transitioning from the front lines to civilian life presents unique challenges. We partner with vetted, top-tier non-profits to fund localized programs that support wounded warriors, assist military families during difficult deployments, and provide critical resources for veterans’ caregivers.
