120th Annual Military Order of the Carabao Wallow
Sitting with a Fellow Member: We have included an Entry for you to complete if you wish to sit with another member attending the WALLOW. Please enter the member’s full name, so we can combine the applications. The Seating Committee will call Members who have multiple seating requests from other Members. Please avoid unnecessary workload, confusion and possible embarrassment by pre-coordinating with whom you wish to sit.
No Cancellations Accepted After January 16, 2020. Because of the large number of attendees expected at the 2020 Annual Wallow, cancellations or changes cannot be accepted after January 16, 2020, the date the Tabling Book goes to the printer – Telephone: 410/987-9111, FAX: 888-598-1681.
Application Submission: Apply On-Line and enter your guest’s names into the Wallow Database.
Formal Invitations: All Members and Guests will be sent formal invitations by the Dinner Committee. When you receive your Invitation, check with your Guests to ensure they also have received their Invitation. The Invitation is not a ticket and will not be required for admission.
Payment for Guests: Contractors, through their MILITARY ORDER OF THE CARABAO Members, may nominate persons to be invited, but only Members can host a guest. Invitations and seating procedures will be administered solely by the MILITARY ORDER OF THE CARABAO.
Corporate Sponsors: Each year, we are grateful to our Corporate Sponsors. Because of them, we have been able to maintain the high quality of our Show and relative stability of the Tariff. We encourage inquiries from companies interested in being Corporate Sponsors for the 2020 ANNUAL WALLOW. New at the 2020 WALLOW, we now offer several Levels of Corporate Sponsorships. Please refer to the enclosed Corporate Sponsor Application form. Show: This year we have the Capitol Steps entertaining us at the 2020 Annual Wallow. We are confident you will find them entertaining, and most politically incorrect. The Joint Service Color Guard and “The President’s Own” United States Marine Band will be present to delight and inspire us.
Compliance with D.C. Smoking Laws: The District of Columbia Smoking Laws apply at the 2020 ANNUAL WALLOW. The Renaissance Washington HOTEL has informed us specifically, there will be NO SMOKING allowed at the 2020 ANNUAL WALLOW.
Wine available on the tables: Members may bring their beverages to their tables from the Reception. Wine will be available on the tables. Open bars will be available at strategic locations throughout the Ballroom. At the conclusion of the WALLOW, coffee will be available in the Reception area where we first assembled. In compliance with D.C. law, beverages not purchased at the Hotel are not allowed at the WALLOW.
Dress: Black tie or uniform. Miniature military medals may be worn.
Metro Access: Get off at Gallery Place- Chinatown (Green, Yellow & Red Lines)
Parking: The Renaissance Washington Hotel offers parking at the hotel. Self-Parking is $26.00 per car and Valet Parking is $37.00 –per car.
Room Reservations: For those planning to attend the WALLOW, and who may wish to reserve a room at the Renaissance Washington Hotel the MILITARY ORDER OF THE CARABAO has reserved a block of rooms for Saturday Night, at a reduced weekend rate. To take advantage of this reduced rate, you must make your room reservation with the Renaissance Washington Hotel Reservations Department by calling 1-877-212-5752 and referencing the room block by date and name. You may also utilize the electronic link https://book.passkey.com/go/ MOC2020. Be sure to request the special MILITARY ORDER OF THE CARABAO WALLOW Room Rate of $139.00/night, plus tax. This special rate will be available until the cutoff date of January 15, 2020 so please book early.
